Growing to the Next Level is hosted by KingsGate Community Church, in partnership with ARC and Gateway Church. Around 90 of the largest and most influential churches in the UK and Europe come together from a wide range of denominational affiliations, streams and backgrounds. Most of the churches have a weekly worship attendance of 500 or more.
Since March 2016, the Learning Community has gathered every 6 months to explore what it takes to lead a healthy, effective and growing church. Each cycle, there is an opportunity for churches to continue in the process, and new churches to join.
“My earnest hope is that not only will this result in healthy and sustainable growth in each church represented, but it will further contribute to our unity together.”
“My earnest hope is that not only will this result in healthy and sustainable growth in each church represented, but will further contribute to our unity together.”
The cost to participate across 2020 – 2022 is £3000 per church. In addition to this, churches need to pay for their own travel and accommodation. The senior team leader must attend all gatherings, and the registration fee includes a team of three others. Additional team members can be added for £225 per person per in-person gathering. Please note that these fees represent only a percentage of the real cost of a Learning Community. The remainder of the funding has been provided by donors who believe strongly in the strategic impact of the programme.
The Learning Community gathers every six months across the two year period. Between gatherings we provide a framework for accountability and ongoing support, which leads to significant results. The churches are grouped by size for peer level learning. Gatherings begin with registration at 6pm on Day 1 and finish by 2pm on Day 3.
